WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jennifer Larocque, 40, of Cornwall, was arrested on Oct. 07, 2024, on the strength on an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Oct. 04, 2024, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On Oct. 07, 2024, she attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and she was held for a bail hearing.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 07, 2024, and charged with assault. It is alleged on Oct. 07, 2024, the man assaulted his common-law partner. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, MISCHIEF, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 43-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 07, 2024, and charged with the following;

• Assault
• Assault causing bodily harm
• Three counts of failing to comply with Recognizance to Keep the Peace
• Mischief under $5,000

It is alleged on Oct. 07, 2024, the man was bound by a recognizance to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, not communicate with his former common-law partner, and not be within 100 meters of her. It is also alleged on this date, the man struck and choked his former common-law partner - causing her to sustain an injury, and caused damage to her residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Steven Helie, 48, of Cornwall, was arrested on Oct. 07, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Sept. 24, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Oct. 07, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.
