FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old Cornwall man as arrested on Oct. 4, 2024, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on Sept. 3, 2024, and Oct. 3, 2024, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not communicate with his ex-girlfriend. It is also alleged on these dates, the man attempted to communicate with his ex-girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Oct. 4, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. The man’s name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Jacob Campeau, 20, of Glen Walter, was arrested on Oct. 4, 2024, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. On Oct. 4, 2024, police responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of Marleau Avenue and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man was operating his motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Oct. 31, 2024.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Jason Anderson, 30, of Hogansburg, NY, was arrested on Oct. 5, 2024, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. On Oct. 5, 2024, police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Brookdale Avenue and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man was operating his motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Oct. 31, 2024.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Kananakehneh Green, 33, of Cornwall, was arrested on Oct. 5, 2024, and charged with assault. It is alleged on Oct. 5, 2024, the man assaulted an individual at a Ninth Street East business. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on Nov. 14, 2024.

WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Kyle Morrow, 40, of Cornwall, was arrested on Oct. 6, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with fail to comply with probation order. It is alleged between June 6, 2024, and Aug. 29, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to report in person to a probation officer. He failed to do so and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On Oct. 6, 2024, the man was located by police while they were dealing with a separate matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on Nov. 14, 2024.

UTTERING THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 12-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Oct. 6, 2024, and charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. On Sept. 16, 2024, police responded to a threats complaint at a local school and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the youth made threats to harm an individual known to her. On Oct. 6, 2024, the youth was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

THEFT

Cornwall, ON – James McCormick, 48, of Cornwall, was arrested on Oct. 6, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on Oct. 5, 2024, the man stole an item from an employee at a Pitt Street business. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Oct. 6, 2024, the man was located by police who were on general patrol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Nov. 14, 2024.
