FAIL TO COMPLY, CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT INDICTABLE OFFENCE

Cornwall, ON – Jamie-Lee Corrigan, 38, of Cornwall, was arrested on Sept. 11, 2024, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with release order and one count of conspiracy to commit indictable offence. It is alleged on Sept. 10, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to remain in her residence between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. It is also alleged on this date, the woman conspired to commit a break and enter. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The investigation also revealed the woman breached her curfew. On Sept. 11, 2024, the woman was again bound by a release order with the relevant condition to remain in her residence between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. On Sept. 11, 2024, she was located by police who were on general patrol. It is alleged she once again breached her curfew. The woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Melanie Deschamps, 30, of Cornwall, was arrested on Sept. 11, 2024, and charged with fail to comply with release order and conspiracy to commit indictable offence. It is alleged on Sept. 10, 2024, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to remain in her residence between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. It is also alleged on this date, the woman conspired to commit a break and enter. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The investigation also revealed the woman breached her curfew. On Sept. 11, 2024, the woman was located by police who were on general patrol and investigating a separate matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – James White, 72, of Akwesasne, was arrested on Sept. 11, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on April 4, 2023, the man was scheduled to appear in court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Sept. 11, 2024, the man was taken into custody by members of the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service and subsequently turned over to the CPS. The warrant was executed and the man was released to appear in court on Oct. 17, 2024.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 30-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Sept. 11, 2024, and charged with domestic assault. It is alleged on Sept. 11, 2024, the man punched his girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was later located by police. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.

THEFT FROM MAIL

Cornwall, ON – Clarissa Square, 31, of Cornwall, was arrested on Sept. 11, 2024, and charged with theft from mail - sent by post. It is alleged on Sept. 3, 2024, the woman stole mail from an individual. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Sept. 11, 2024, the woman was located by police. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Oct. 17, 2024.

DANGEROUS OPERATION, ASSAULT WITH WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – Woods-Thony Bazile, 26, of Cornwall, was arrested on Sept. 11, 2024, and charged with dangerous operation and assault with a weapon. On Sept. 11, 2024, police responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of Second Street East and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man operated his vehicle in a dangerous manner and hit another individual’s vehicle with his car. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on Oct. 17, 2024.

UTTERING FORGED DOCUMENTS

Cornwall, ON – Melissa Wilson, 24, of Cornwall, was arrested on Sept. 11, 2024, and charged with uttering forged documents. On Sept. 11, 2024, police responded to an unwanted person call and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on Sept. 5, 2024, the woman forged a rental agreement document. On Sept. 11, 2024, the woman was located by police. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Oct. 17, 2024.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – James McCormick, 48, of Cornwall, was arrested on Sept. 12, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Aug. 3, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Sept. 12, 2024, the man was taken into custody by members of the OPP and subsequently turned over to the CPS. The warrant was executed and the man was released to appear in court on Oct. 17, 2024.
