VOYEURISM, INDECENT ACT, INDECENT EXPOSURE

Cornwall, ON – Johnny Sawatis, 38, of Cornwall, was arrested on Sept. 18, 2024, and charged with the following:

• Two counts of voyeurism
• Indecent act
• Indecent exposure to a person under 16 years of age

On Sept. 17, 2024, the man is alleged to have committed voyeurism and an indecent act with a person under the age of 16. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Sept, 18, 2024, the man was located by police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Yves Menard, 49, of Cornwall, was arrested on Sept. 18, 2024, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. On Sept. 18, 2024, police responded to an impaired driver complaint in the area of Brookdale Avenue and Cornwall Centre Road and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed the man was operating his motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. The man was released to appear in court on Oct. 8, 2024.
