UTTERING THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Sept. 25, 2024, and charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. It is alleged on Sept. 25, 2024, the youth threatened to stab two individuals known to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The youth was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

WARRANT, THEFT

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Sept. 26, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on Sept. 20, 2024, the youth stole Amazon packages from an individual’s front porch. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Sept. 26, 2024, the youth attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed, he was charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Sept. 26, 2024, and charged with assault. It is alleged on Aug. 20, 2024, the man assaulted his girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Sept. 26, 2024, the man was located by police at the courthouse. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. The man’s name was not released to protect the identity of the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 13-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Sept. 26, 2024, and charged with assault. It is alleged on Sept. 23, 2024, the youth assaulted an individual known to her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Sept. 26, 2024, the youth attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
