WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Beau Goulet, 24, of Alexandria was arrested on August 31st, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on October 28th, 2019, the man damaged a door belonging to someone known to him and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On August 31st, 2020, a member of the Cornwall Police Service attended the Ontario Provincial Police detachment as the man was in custody on the strength of the warrant. The warrant was executed and he was held in custody to await a bail hearing.

BREACH

 Cornwall, ON – Jason Billings, 46, of Cornwall was arrested on August 31st, 2020 and charged with breach of release order for failing to report to his bail program. It is alleged on July 27th, 2020, the man failed to report to his bail program as per his release order, and police were contacted to investigate.  On August 31st, 2020, police located the man and took him into custody. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Petra Podluczky, 59 of Riviere Beaudette, QC was arrested on August 31st, 2020 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged the woman attended a Brookdale Avenue business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. She was stopped by a Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 26th, 2020.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Richard Zeran, 51, of Cornwall was arrested on August 31st, 2020 and charged with four counts of breach of release order for contacting three individuals and being within 50 metres of anyone under the age of 16. It is alleged on August 31st, 2020, the man had contact and was in a close proximity to three individuals, despite the conditions of his release order. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Eric Charlebois, 39, of Ottawa was arrested on August 31st, 2020 and charged with breach of release order for failing to report to his bail program. It is alleged on August 26th, 2020, the man failed to report to his bail program as per his release order, and police were contacted to investigate.  On August 31st, 2020, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
