FAIL TO ATTEND FOR FINGERPRINTS

Cornwall, ON – Darren Cook, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on November 18th, 2020 and charged with failing to attend for fingerprints. It is alleged on September 23rd, 2020, the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and an investigation ensued. On November 18th, 2020 he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on February 2nd, 2021.

FAIL TO ATTEND FOR FINGERPRINTS, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Gobinath Sivanathan, 29, of Cornwall was arrested on November 18th, 2020 and charged with failing to attend for fingerprints and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on November 13th, 2020, the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and an investigation ensued. On November 18th, 2020 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 26th, 2020.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – George Leaf Eastwood, 34, of Akwesasne was arrested on November 18th, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on October 8th, 2020 for an impaired offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On November 18th, 2020, the man was taken into custody while stopped at the Port of Entry and police were contacted. The warrant was executed and released to appear in court on February 2nd, 2021.

DOMESTIC BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 59-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on November 18th, 2020 and charged with two counts of breach of undertaking for contacting his ex-girlfriend and failing to keep the peace. He was also charged with breach of release order for contacting his ex-girlfriend. It is alleged on November 18th, 2020, the man was in the company of his ex-girlfriend, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 19th, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 50-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on November 18th, 2020 and charged with assault with a weapon and two counts of breach of release order for contacting her ex-boyfriend and being within 100 metres of him. It is alleged during an altercation with her ex-boyfriend on November 18th, 2020, the woman threw a phone at the man. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
