CAUSING A DISTURBANCE, BREACH, MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – Maurice Leger, 56, of Cornwall was arrested on January 13th, 2021 and charged with causing a disturbance, mischief, and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on January 13th, the man had caused a disturbance in a Brookdale Avenue apartment building by yelling and interfering with the lawful enjoyment of property by residents. Police were contacted and took the man into custody. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on January 13th, 2021 and charged with assault. It is alleged on December 14th, 2020, the woman struck her child and police were contacted to investigate. On January 13th, 2021, she attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 30th, 2021. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
Cornwall, ON – Angel Dore, 43, of Cornwall was arrested on January 13th, 2021 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on November 17th, 2020, the woman attended a Cornwall Square business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the item as she left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On January 13th, 2021, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 20th, 2021.
