Cornwall, ON – Danielle Ouimet, 34, of Cornwall was arrested on March 17th, 2021 and charged with assault and two counts of uttering threats. It is alleged during an altercation with someone known to her on March 4th, 2021, the woman attempted to assault the victim and made threats to harm them and their dog. On March 17th, 2021, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 1st, 2021.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Marc-Antoine Joint, 21, of Riviere-Beaudette, QC was arrested on March 17th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on September 11th, 2020, the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and a warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. On March 17th, 2021, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on June 1st, 2021.

Cornwall, ON – Adam Labrecque, 32, of Cornwall was arrested on March 17th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on March 10th, 2021 for an assault offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 17th, 2021, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. The warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – An 18-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on March 17th, 2021 and charged with two counts of breach of undertaking for contacting her ex-boyfriend and failing to notify a change of address to police. It is alleged on March 16th, 2021, the woman had contact with her ex-boyfriend, despite her conditions, and an investigation ensued. On March 17th, 2021, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

Cornwall, ON – Jerry Caudill, 48, of Cornwall was arrested on March 17th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on March 11th, 2021 for operating a motor vehicle while prohibited and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 17th, 2021, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on June 1st, 2021.

Cornwall, ON – Devin McAllister, 41, of Cornwall was arrested on March 17th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on January 19th, 2021 for a breach offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 17th, 2021, the man was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on June 1st, 2021.
THREATS, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – David Drew, 60, of Cornwall was arrested on March 17th, 2021 and charged with uttering threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breach of undertaking for contacting a certain person. It is alleged during an altercation with a certain person, the man made threats to harm the person while in possession of a knife. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
IMPAIRED, OVER 80
Cornwall, ON – Ashley Simser, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on March 17th, 2021 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged the woman was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol in the area of Fifth Street West and Riviere Place when the vehicle struck a stop sign in the area. Police were contacted and took the woman into custody. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 18th, 2021.
