SHOPLIFTING X 4, BREACH X 10

Cornwall, ON – Marc Racine, 46, of Cornwall was arrested on July 8th, 2021 and charged with four counts of theft under $5000 and ten counts of breach of probation for attending a certain business and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged between May and June, the man attended four businesses and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store on any occasion. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 8th, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

SEXUAL ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Douglas Johnson, 69, of Cornwall was arrested n July 8th, 2021 and charged with sexual assault. It is alleged on May 5th, 2021, the man inappropriately touched a woman he did not know and police were contacted to investigate. On July 8th, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 21st, 2021.
