WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Garry Barstch, 48, of Cornwall was arrested on July 16th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on June 2nd, 2021, the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On July 16th, 2021, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on October 5th, 2021.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Michael Boileau, 50, of Long Sault was arrested on July 16th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on July 8th, 2021 for an impaired offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On July 16th, 2021, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on October 5th, 2021.

WARRANT, THEFT UNDER $5000, FAIL TO APPEAR FOR FINGERPRINTS, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Travis Cook, 39, of Cornwall was arrested on July 16th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant for breaching his probation. He was also charged with theft under $5000, fail to attend for fingerprints and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on June 17th, 2021, the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints. It is further alleged on July 16th, 2021, the man took a quantity of power tools from a Vincent Massey Drive property and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Kyle Adams, 31, of Ingleside was arrested on July 16th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on June 1st, 2021 for a break and enter offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On July 16th, 2021, the man was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on October 5th, 2021.

ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Diana Pumnea, 36, of Cornwall was arrested on July 16th, 2021 and charged with assault, assault with a weapon, and breach of undertaking for possessing a weapon. It is alleged during an altercation with two people known to her on July 16th, the woman assaulted one of the individuals and further assaulted the second individual with an object that had been hanging on a wall. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 21st, 2021.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 17th, 2021 and charged with criminal harassment, as well as three counts of breach of probation for contacting his ex-girlfriend and failing to keep the peace. The man is alleged to have repeatedly contacted his ex-girlfriend, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On July 17th, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 5th, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Shawn Leaf, 46, of Akwesasne was arrested on July 18th, 2021 and charged with breach of undertaking for consuming alcohol outside of his residence. It is alleged while police were responding to a disturbance during the early morning hours on July 18th, the man was located intoxicated while outside of a Brookdale Avenue restaurant, despite his conditions. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 21st, 2021.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Madison Pawis, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on July 18th, 2021 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged the woman was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol in the area of Henry Street and Thirteenth Street, when police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 23rd, 2021.

IMPAIRED BY DRUG, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Samantha MacIntyre, 31, of Ingleside was arrested on July 18th, 2021 and charged with impaired by drug and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on July 18th, the woman was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drug when she struck a parking meter in the area of Fourth Street and Pitt Street before leaving the area. Police were contacted and located the vehicle shortly thereafter. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 21st, 2021.

ASSAULT POLICE

Cornwall, ON – Lois MacLean, 71, of Cornwall was arrested on July 18th, 2021 and charged with assault police. It is alleged while police were investigating an unrelated matter, the woman assaulted a police officer. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 5th, 2021.
