IMPAIRED BY DRUG, POSSESSION OF A SCHEDULE I SUBSTANCE

Cornwall, ON – Brandy Pierce, 25, of Akwesasne was arrested on August 4th, 2021 and charged with impaired by drug and possession of a Schedule I substance, being cocaine. It is alleged on August 4th, 2021, the woman was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drug in the area of William Street. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, at which time she was found to be in possession of cocaine. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 19th, 2021.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Cheyanna Sylvester, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on August 4th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman breached her probation order and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On August 4th, 2021, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on October 7th, 2021.

SEXUAL ASSAULT ON A PERSON UNDER 16

Cornwall, ON – Tron Quill, 26, of Deer Lake, ON was arrested on August 4th, 2021 and charged with sexual assault on a person under 16. It is alleged on August 4th, 2021, the man inappropriately touched a female known to him under the age of 16. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On August 4th, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 19th, 2021.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 27-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 5th, 2021 and charged with three counts of breach of release order for contacting his ex-girlfriend, being within 100 metres of her and failing to remain in his residence. It is alleged during the early morning hours on August 5th, 2021, the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Dakota Marini, 18, of Ottawa was arrested on August 5th, 2021 and charged with four counts of breach of release order for failing to reside at a certain residence, failing to remain at that residence, failing to abide by his curfew, and possessing a weapon. It is alleged during the early morning hours on August 5th, 2021, the man was located in breach of his conditions while police while investigating an unrelated matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
