BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Aimee Moke, 47, of South Stormont was arrested on August 30th, 2021 and charged with two counts of breach of release order for failing to report to her bail supervisor and failing to reside at an approved address. It is alleged the woman failed to report to her bail supervisor on August 19th, 2021 and further failed to provide verification of her address. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On August 30th, 2021, a member of the Cornwall Police Service attended Ottawa as the woman was in custody on an unrelated matter. She was charged accordingly and remained in custody to await a bail hearing.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, ASSAULT, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000, THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on August 30th, 2021 and charged with the following:

  • Domestic assault
  • Assault
  • Mischief under $5000
  • Theft under $5000
  • Breach of probation x 3 (for failing to keep the peace)

It is alleged on June 26th, 2021, during an altercation with her husband, the woman assaulted him. It is further alleged on July 23rd, 2021, the woman assaulted a man she did not know and damaged a phone belonging to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On August 30th, 2021, police were called to investigate a theft from a Cornwall Square business, where the woman is alleged to have removed merchandise from a store while making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 23rd, 2021. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the domestic assault incident.

WARRANT, INDECENT ACT, CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 33-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 30th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. He was also charged with indecent act, criminal harassment and breach of undertaking for contacting his ex-girlfriend. It is alleged on May 18th, 2021, the man failed to attend court for a criminal harassment offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. It is further alleged between July and August, the man had repeatedly contacted his ex-girlfriend, despite his conditions, and on July 20th, sent the woman a video of him exposing himself. On August 30th, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

THEFT UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Kyle Adams, 32, of Ingleside was arrested on August 31st, 2021 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on August 4th, 2021, the man attended a local gas bar and fueled his vehicle, making no attempt to pay for the fuel as he left the area. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On August 31st, 2021, he was taken into custody during a traffic stop. The man was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 2nd, 2021.

FAIL TO ATTEND COURT

Cornwall, ON – Karina David, 30, of Akwesasne was arrested on August 30th, 2021 and charged with failing to attend court. It is alleged on August 30th, the woman failed to attend court for breach offence and police were contacted to investigate. Later that day, the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 16th, 2021.
