ASSAULT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Alyssa Printup, 31, of Akwesasne was arrested on September 13th, 2021 and charged with assault and breach of release order for contacting a certain person. She was also charged with breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on September 6th, 2021, the woman assaulted someone she has conditions of no contact with and police were contacted to investigate. On September 13th, 2021, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

DANGEROUS OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Donald Benedict, 49, of Cornwall was arrested on September 13th, 2021 and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and mischief under $5000. It is alleged on September 9th, 2021, the man was operating a motor vehicle in a dangerous manner when he struck the security gate at the Canadian Port of Entry and fled the area. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On September 13th, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 25th, 2021.
