SEXUAL ASSAULT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Jerry Paquin, 40, of Cornwall was arrested on September 24th, 2021 and charged with sexual assault and three counts of breach of release order for failing to remain in New Brunswick, failing to remain in his residence, and failing to abide by a curfew. It is alleged on September 8th, 2021, the man inappropriately touched a woman known to him and police were contacted to investigate. On September 24th, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jaskaran Singh, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on September 25th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on September 21st, 2021, the man failed to attend court for a dangerous operation of a motor vehicle offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On September 25th, 2021, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on December 9th, 2021.

ASSAULT X 2, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Keisha Maneilly, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on September 26th, 2021 and charged with two counts of assault and one count of mischief under $5000. It is alleged during an altercation with a woman known to her on September 23rd, the woman spat at the victim and assaulted her, as well as damaged an accessory on the victim’s cell phone. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On September 26th, 2021, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 9th, 2021.

BREAK AND ENTER, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Fabien Pelosse, 44, of Cornwall was arrested on September 26th, 2021 and charged with break and enter and mischief under $5000. It is alleged on September 24th, 2021, the man entered the residence of someone he did not know without permission, and further damaged the tires of the victim’s vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On September 26th, 2021, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
