WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Devin McAllister, 42, of Cornwall was arrested on September 27th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints on April 15, 2021 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On September 27th, 2021, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on December 9th, 2021.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Ali Basra, 26, of Mississauga was arrested on September 27th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on June 25th, 2019 for a breach offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On September 27th, 2021, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO ATTEND COURT 

Cornwall, ON – Rebecca Kargus, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on September 27th, 2021 and charged with failing to attend court. It is alleged on September 21st, 2021, the woman failed to attend court for a possession of a controlled substance offence and police were contacted to investigate. On September 27th, 2021, she attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 9th, 2021.

THEFT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

Cornwall, ON – Kevin Tessier, 42, of Cornwall was arrested on September 27th, 2021 and charged with theft of a motor vehicle. It is alleged on June 27th, 2021, the man took an e-bike that did not belong to him without the owner’s permission and police were contacted to investigate. On September 27th, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 30th, 2021.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000, BREAK AND ENTER

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on September 27th, 2021 and charged with break and enter and mischief under $5000. It is alleged on September 26th, the man forced his way into his sister’s residence, causing damage to a door. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On September 27th, 2021, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 30th, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
