WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Kyle Saucier, 30, of Cornwall was arrested n October 28th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on October 26th, 2021 for a breach offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 28th, 2021, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on January 4th, 2022.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Jamie Garlow, 29, of Cornwall was arrested on October 28th, 2021 and charged with two counts of breach of release order for contacting someone under the age of 18 and failing to notify a change of address to police. He was also charged with breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on October 7th, the man spoke to a person under the age of 18, who he did not know, and police were contacted to investigate. On October 28th, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 28th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged during an altercation with his ex-girlfriend on September 16 and on October 2, the man assaulted her. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 28th, 2021, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Bernard Deguire, 66, of Cornwall was arrested on October 28th, 2021 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on October 28th, the man attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. Police were contacted and took the man into custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 4th, 2022.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Tanisha Samuels, 23, of Cornwall was arrested on October 29th, 2021 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged during the early morning hours on October 29th, the woman damaged a window at a Thirteenth Street business and police were contacted. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 4th, 2022.
