WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jaskaran Singh, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on January 11th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on December 9th, 2021 the man failed to attend court for a dangerous operation of a motor vehicle offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On January 11th, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on March 24th, 2022.

FAIL TO ATTEND COURT AND FAIL TO ATTEND FOR FINGERPRINTS

Cornwall, ON – Bernard Deguire, 66, of Cornwall was arrested on January 11th, 2022 and charged with failing to attend court and failing to attend for fingerprints. It is alleged on December 6th, 2021, the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and further failed to attend court on January 4th, 2022 for a theft offence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On January 11th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 22nd, 2022.

COUPLE ARRESTED FOR SEVEN INCIDENTS OF SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Marie St. Denis, 70, and Mario St. Denis, 63, both of Cornwall, were arrested on January 11th, 2022 and each charged with seven counts of theft under $5000. It is alleged between December 4th, 2021 and January 7th, 2022, the individuals attended a Ninth Street business on seven occasions and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as they left the store on any occasion. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On January 11th, 2022, they were taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 24th, 2022.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Christopher Fullarton, 46, of Cornwall was arrested on January 11th, 2022 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on January 11th, 2021, the man was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol in the area of Dover Road and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 24th, 2022.
