Cornwall, ON – A 32-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 21st, 2022 and charged with assault causing bodily harm (choking), uttering threats, and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an altercation with his ex-girlfriend on March 13th, 2022, the man choked her and made threats to kill the woman. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 21st, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
