ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM

Cornwall, ON – A 20-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 6th, 2022 and charged with assault causing bodily harm for choking. It is alleged during an altercation with his girlfriend on June 5th, 2022, the man assaulted his girlfriend, and police were contacted to investigate. On June 6th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 28th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, On – McKenzie-Maureen Morrison, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on June 6th, 2022 and charged with three counts of breach of release order. It is alleged on June 6th, 2022, the woman was located by police outside of her residence, despite her conditions to remain in her residence, reside at a certain residence, and notify police of any change of address. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
