DOMESTIC ASSAULT, CRIMINAL HARASSMENT

Cornwall, ON – A 48-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 20th, 2022 and charged with domestic assault and criminal harassment. It is alleged on January 3rd, 2022, the man assaulted his ex-girlfriend. It is further alleged the man had repeatedly attended places where his ex-girlfriend was known to be and would watch and wait for her. Police were subsequently contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 20th, 2022, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 5th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
