BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 48-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 22nd, 2022 and charged with breach of undertaking for contacting his ex-girlfriend. It is alleged on June 21st, 2022, the man indirectly contacted his ex-girlfriend, despite his conditions. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 22nd, 2022, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Leonard Quesnel, 52, of Cornwall was arrested on June 22nd, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on June 9th, 2022, the man failed to attend court for a previous fail to attend court offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On June 22nd, 2022, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Donald Peddle, 50, of Martintown, ON was arrested on June 22nd, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on June 7th, 2022, the man failed to attend court for a fail to attend for fingerprints offence and a warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. On June 22nd, 2022, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANTS

Cornwall, ON - Carrie Anderson, 31, of St. Andrews West was arrested on June 22nd, 2022 on the strength of two warrants. It is alleged on April 24th, 2022, the woman assaulted someone known to her in order to take a quantity of money from the person. It is further alleged on May 15th, 2022, she made threats to harm someone known to her. Police were contacted and warrants were issued for her arrest. On June 22nd, 2022, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrants and released to appear in court on July 28th, 2022.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Douglas Bienkowski, 31, of Akwesasne was arrested on June 22nd, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on June 9th, 2022, the man failed to attend court for a dangerous operation of a motor vehicle offence. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On June 22nd, 2022, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on July 12th, 2022.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT X 3, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 58-year-old St. Andrews West man was arrested on June 22nd, 2022 and charged with three counts of domestic assault and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an altercation with his girlfriend on June 22nd, the man assaulted her three times. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

THREATS, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Malik Iqbal, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on June 23rd, 2022 and charged with uttering threats and breach of release order for failing to abide by his curfew. It is alleged on June 22nd, police were called to investigate a suspicious person complaint and located the intoxicated man outside of his residence, despite his conditions. During the investigation, the man is further alleged to have made threats to kill three police officers. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
