MISCHIEF UNDER $5000, BREAK AND ENTER, POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME
Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on July 4th, 2022 and charged with mischief under $5000, break and enter and possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged between July 2-3, 2022, the youth forced her way into her father’s residence, damaging a window and removing a cellphone without permission. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 4th, 2022, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. The name of the youth was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Cornwall, ON – A 59-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 4th, 2022 and charged with breach of undertaking for being at a place where certain individuals are known to be. It is alleged on May 27th, 2022, the man attended the area of the individual’s residence, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On July 4th, 2022, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 9th, 2022. His name was not released as it may identify the victims in the matter.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT, BREAK AND ENTER, MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 4th, 2022 and charged with domestic assault, break and enter and mischief. It is alleged between May and June, the man assaulted his ex-girlfriend and caused various damages in her residence. It is further alleged on July 3rd, 2022, the man forced his way into her residence without permission and caused damages inside of the home. Police were contacted and took the man into custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 2nd, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
