ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON X 3, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – An 18-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 18th, 2022 and charged with three counts of assault with a weapon and one count of mischief under $5000. It is alleged on July 15th, 2022, during an altercation with his mother and siblings, the man pointed a knife towards the victims and further damaged a window in the residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 18th, 2022, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victims in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Ian Osman, 37, of Cornwall was arrested on July 18th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on July 12th, 2022 for a fail to stop after an accident offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On July 18th, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on August 25th, 2022.

ASSAULT, THEFT UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Sean Finnerty, 44, of Ottawa was arrested on July 18th, 2022 and charged with assault and theft under $5000. It is alleged on July 18th, 2022, the man attended a Ninth Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as he left the store. He was stopped by a Loss Prevention Officer, who he subsequently assaulted. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 23rd, 2022.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 20-year-old man from Bombay, NY was arrested on July 18th, 2022 and charged with domestic mischief. It is alleged on July 18th, 2022, during an altercation with his girlfriend, the man damaged a window in her residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 2nd, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANTS, UNAUTHORIZED POSSESSION OF A WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – Natasha Parent, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on July 18th, 2022 on the strength of two warrants and was also charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon. It is alleged on September 27th, 2021 and October 24th, 2021 the woman attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as she left the store on either occasion. Police were contacted and warrants were issued for her arrest. On July 18th, 2022, the woman was located by police and was taken into custody on the strength of the warrants, at which time she was found to be in possession of brass knuckles. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 6th, 2022.

WARRANTS

Cornwall, ON – Keith Seyeau, 47, of Cornwall was arrested on July 19th, 2022 on the strength of three warrants. It is alleged in November of 2021, the man breached his release order by failing to sign in to police, notify a change of address and reside at a certain address. It is further alleged the man failed to attend court on both December 15th, 2021 and January 18th, 2022. Police were contacted and warrants were issued for his arrest. On July 19th, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrants and held for a bail hearing.
