Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on September 27th, 2022 and charged with domestic mischief and forcible confinement. It is alleged on September 9th, 2022, during an altercation with his common-law-wife, the man prevented her from leaving the residence and further damaged her phone. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On September 27th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 11th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
INTIMIDATION, THREATS, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on September 27th, 2022 and charged with intimidation, uttering threats, and two counts of breach of undertaking for contacting his ex-girlfriend and being anywhere she is. It is alleged on September 21st, 2022, the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence and made threats to kill her, as well as attempted to compel the woman to change her statement in an unrelated matter before the courts. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On September 27th, 2022, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
