WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old youth was arrested on October 11th, 2022, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on October 6th, 2022, the youth was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued. On October 11th, 2022, the youth was located, taken into custody on the strength of the warrant, and released to appear at a later date. The identity of the young person was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE
Cornwall, ON – Lee Richer, 35, of Cornwall, was arrested on October 11th, 2022, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on June 23rd, 2022, the man borrowed a motor vehicle and never returned it. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 11th, 2022, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on November 24th, 2022.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Tyler McMillan, 28, of Cornwall, was arrested on October 11th, 2022, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on October 6th, 2022, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 11th, 2022, the man was located, the warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.
ARSON, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000
Cornwall, ON – On October 11th, 2022, police responded to a report of two suspects setting garbage on fire and running away. Upon the conclusion of the investigation, two youths were taken into custody and charged as follows;
- The 14-year-old youth was charged with arson and mischief under $5000
- The 16-year-old-youth was charged with arson and mischief under $5000
They were both released to appear in court at a later date. Their identities were not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
