ASSAULT, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Teagan Chouina-Ladouceur, 19, of Cornwall was arrested on March 9th, 2023 and charged with assault and uttering threats. It is alleged on March 8th, 2023, the woman assaulted someone unknown to her and made threats to kill the person. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 11th, 2023.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kyle Morrow, 38, of Cornwall was arrested on March 9th, 2023 and charged with breach of release order for failing to report to the Cornwall Police Service (CPS). It is alleged between February 24th, 2023 and March 8th, 2023, the man failed to report to the CPS as per his conditions and an investigation ensued. On March 9th, 2023, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Cortlon Skidders, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on March 9th, 2023 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on March 9th, 2023, the man attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as he left the store. He was stopped by a staff member and police were contacted. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 20th, 2023.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 9th, 2023 and charged with domestic assault and uttering threats. It is alleged on March 9th, 2023, the man made threats to harm his common-law-wife and assaulted her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT X 3, IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – A 36-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 9th, 2023 and charged with three counts of assault, as well as impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on three occasions during an argument with his 12-year-old daughter, the man assaulted her and fled the residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Shortly thereafter, the man was located during a traffic stop, at which time he was observed to be operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
