WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Nathalie Matte, 48, of Cornwall was arrested on March 22nd, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on September 6th, 2022, the woman failed to attend court for a previous fail to attend court offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On March 22nd, 2023, she attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on May 4th, 2023.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Scott Campbell, 40, of Cornwall was arrested on March 22nd, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on September 6th, 2022, the man failed to attend court for a previous fail to attend court offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 22nd, 2023, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on May 4th, 2023.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, ASSAULT, THREATS, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE

Cornwall, ON – Richard Saulnier, 43, of Cornwall was arrested on March 22nd, 2023 and charged with assault with a weapon, assault, uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. It is alleged on February 20th, 2023, the man made threats to harm someone known to him, and proceeded to assault him and brandish a knife in the direction of the victim. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 22nd, 2023, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 25th, 2023.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Connie Mitchell, 53, of Akwesasne was arrested on March 22nd, 2023 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged the woman was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol, when she was stopped at the Port of Entry. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 11th, 2023.
