DOMESTIC ASSAULT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 54-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 23rd, 2023 and charged with domestic assault and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on January 21st, 2023, during an altercation with his girlfriend, the man assaulted her and police were contacted to investigate. On March 23rd, 2023, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANTS

Cornwall, ON – Kyle Lalonde, 28, of Ottawa was arrested on March 23rd, 2023 on the strength of multiple warrants. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on August 2nd, 2022 and August 31st, 2022 and warrants were issued for his arrest. On March 23rd, 2023, a member of the Cornwall Police Service attended the courthouse as the man was in custody for an unrelated matter. The warrants were executed and he remained in custody to await a bail hearing.
