Cornwall, ON – Bilal Al-Jassem, 20, of St. Jacobs, ON was arrested on March 27th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on December 6th, 2022, the man defrauded someone he did not know of a motor vehicle and money, after trading a motor vehicle in which he misrepresented the facts of the trade. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 27th, 2023, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on May 4th, 2023.
WARRANT, FAIL TO ATTEND FOR FINGERPRINTS
Cornwall, ON – Kullan Taggart, 29, of Cornwall was arrested on March 27th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. He was also charged with failing to attend for fingerprints. It is alleged on January 10th, 2023, the man failed to attend court for a previous fail to attend court offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. It is further alleged on December 21st, 2022, the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints. On March 27th, 2023, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
Cornwall, ON – Richard Laroche, 71, of Cornwall was arrested on March 27th, 2023 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an altercation with someone known to him, the man assaulted the victim and police were contacted. On March 27th, 2023, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 18th, 2023.
