FAIL TO ATTEND FOR FINGERPRINTS

Cornwall, ON – Mathieu Duplantie, 34, of Cornwall was arrested on May 2nd, 2023 and charged with failing to attend for fingerprints. It is alleged on February 8th, 2023, the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and an investigation ensued. On May 2nd, 2023, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 6th, 2023.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Glen Walter youth was arrested on May 2nd, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the youth breached his probation order and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On May 2nd, 2023, the youth attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court at a later date. The name of the youth was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 2nd, 2023 and charged with criminal harassment, as well as breach of release order for attending his ex-girlfriend’s residence. He was also charged with breach of probation order for contacting his ex-girlfriend, attending her residence and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged between April and May, the man repeatedly contacted and attended the residence of his ex-girlfriend, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On May 2nd, 2023, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

THREATS

Cornwall, ON – David Tracy, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on May 2nd, 2023 and charged with uttering threats. It is alleged on March 1st, 2023, the man made a threat to cause bodily harm or death to a group of people. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued, at which time the threat was deemed to be hate-motivated. On May 2nd, 2023, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 6th, 2023.
