IMPAIRED BY DRUG

Cornwall, ON – Justin McNair, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on May 18th, 2023 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle by drug. It is alleged on May 18th, a member of the Cornwall Police Service was conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Ninth Street and Adolphus Street and during a traffic stop, the man was observed to be operating the motor vehicle while impaired by drug. He was taken into custody during the investigation, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 15th, 2023.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Kristyn Jarvis, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on May 18th, 2023 and charged with assault. It is alleged on April 13th, 2023, the woman struck someone known to her during an altercation and police were contacted. On May 18th, she attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 29th, 2023.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 55-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on May 18th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged during an altercation with her boyfriend on June 27th, 2022, the woman assaulted him and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On May 18th, 2023, she was taken into custody and the warrant was executed. She was released to appear in court on June 13th, 2023. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

IMPAIRED, DANGEROUS OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, FAIL TO STOP AFTER AN ACCIDENT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Natalie Cole, 31, of Akwesasne was arrested on May 18th, 2023 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle by drug, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, fail to stop after an accident and breach of release order for possessing an identification card not lawfully in her name. It is alleged on May 18th, the woman was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drug, when she struck a vehicle in the area of Brookdale Avenue and Fifth Street. The woman failed to stop after the collision and police were contacted. During the investigation, police located the woman and took her into custody, at which time she was found in possession of identification cards in the name of someone else, despite her conditions. She was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Christopher Tessier, 28, of Cornwall was arrested on May 18th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on March 16th, 2023, the man was in possession of a stolen bank card and used the card to conduct two separate transactions. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On May 18th, 2023, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Morgan McCreary, 43, of Cornwall as arrested on May 18th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on April 25th, 2023 for a theft offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On May 18th, 2023, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on June 29th, 2023.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 18th, 2023 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged on May 18th, 2023, the man attended his mother’s residence and caused various damages throughout the household. Police were contacted and took him into custody. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
