THEFT UNDER $5000, FRAUD UNDER $5000 X 3, FORGERY OF CREDIT CARD
Cornwall, ON – Natasha Lalonde, 38, of Cornwall was arrested on June 5th, 2023 and charged with theft under $5000, forgery of credit card and three counts of fraud under $5000. It is alleged on May 14th, 2023, the woman took a bank card that did not belong to her and attended three local business to make transactions. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 5th, 2023, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 13th, 2023.
Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on June 5th, 2023 and charged with uttering threats. It is alleged during an altercation with his girlfriend on June 5th, the youth made threats to harm the female and police were contacted. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. The name of the youth was not released per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
ASSAULT POLICE, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Christopher Riviere, 38, of Cornwall was arrested on June 6th, 2023 and charged with assault police and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on June 6th, 2023, while police were investigating an unrelated matter, the man assaulted a police officer. During the investigation, he was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 18th, 2023.
