PUBLIC MISCHIEF, ALTERING A VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER, MAKE FORGED DOCUMENT, FRAUD OVER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Flora Orr, 66, of Cornwall was arrested on June 13th, 2023 and charged with the following:

  • Public mischief
  • Altering a vehicle identification number
  • Make forged document
  • Fraud over $5000

It is alleged in July 2022, the woman filed a stolen vehicle report to police and subsequently filed a claim to her insurance company, when in fact the vehicle had not been stolen. In June 2023, police recovered the vehicle in her possession, which had its vehicle identification number tampered with. On June 13th, 2023, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 18th, 2023.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 27-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on June 13th, 2023 and charged with domestic mischief. It is alleged during an altercation with her ex-boyfriend, the woman damaged several kitchen items. Police were contacted and took the woman into custody. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 27th, 2023. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Shawnna Chartrand, 30, of Cornwall was arrested on June 13th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman breached her probation order and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On June 13th, 2023, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on July 27th, 2023.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Brandon Cameron, 19, of Cornwall was arrested on June 13th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation order and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On June 13th, 2023, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on July 18th, 2023.
