FAIL TO COMPLY WITH DEMAND

Cornwall, ON – Sarah McDonald, 33, of St. Andrews was arrested on June 14th, 2023 and charged with fail to comply with demand. It is alleged on June 14th, 2023, while police were conducting an impaired operation investigation, the woman failed to provide a suitable sample of breach upon demand to police. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 4th, 2023.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Sasha Colon, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on June 14th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to comply with her probation order and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On June 14th, 2023, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – James Cholette, 41, of Cornwall was arrested on June 14th, 2023 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on June 7th, 2023, the man attended a Ninth Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 14th, 2023, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 18th, 2023.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on June 14th, 2023 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an altercation, the youth assaulted her mother and police were contacted. During the investigation, the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. The name of the youth was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on June 14th, 2023 and charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats. It is alleged on June 11th, the youth threw an object at another youth known to him and made threats to harm the victim’s dog. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 14th, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. The name of the youth was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
