WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Denis Billette, 58, of Hawkesbury, ON was arrested on June 16th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation order and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On June 16th, 2023, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on July 27th, 2023.

ASSAULT, RESIST POLICE

Cornwall, ON – Jason Anderson, 40, of Cornwall was arrested on June 16th, 2023 and charged with assault and resist police. It is alleged on June 16th, 2023, during an altercation with a man he did not know, he assaulted the victim and police were contacted. During the investigation, the man resisted being taken into custody. After a brief struggle he was arrested, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 27th, 2023.

UTTERING COUNTERFEIT MONEY

Cornwall, ON – Zachary Plumadore, 22, of Cornwall was arrested on June 16th, 2023 and charged with uttering counterfeit money. It is alleged between May and June 2023, the man had been fraudulently offering to sell counterfeit money and police were contacted. On June 16th, 2023, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 27th, 2023.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Danny Bissonnette, 29, of Alexandria was arrested on June 17th, 2023 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on June 17th, the man was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol when he struck a railroad crossing barrier. Police were contacted and took the man into custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 13th, 2023.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Montreal man was arrested on June 18th, 2023 and charged with domestic assault, as well as breach of release order and probation order for contacting his girlfriend and being within a certain distance of her. He was further charged with breach of probation, release order and recognizance for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on June 18th, 2023, during an altercation, the man assaulted his girlfriend and police were contacted. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
