DOMESTIC THREATS AND MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on July 4th, 2023, and charged with uttering threats and mischief under $5000. It is alleged that on July 2nd, 2023, the man damaged is ex-girlfriend’s property and threated to harm her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 4th, 2023, the man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on July 25th, 2023. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 12-year-old youth was arrested on July 4th, 2023, and charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats. It is alleged that on July 4th, 2023, the youth brandished a weapon and threatened to harm his mother. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
