DOMESTIC ASSAULT, THREATS, POSESSION OF A WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old female was arrested on July 5th, 2022, and charged with two counts of uttering threats, two counts of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, and one count of assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged that on June 30th, 2023, the woman brandished a knife and threatened to harm her boyfriend. Later that morning, the woman brandished the same knife, threatened to harm her boyfriend, and assaulted him with it causing bodily harm. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 5th, 2023, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

BREACHES

Cornwall, ON – An 18-year-old man was arrested on July 5th, 2023, and charged with three counts of breach of youth probation. It is alleged that on February 28th, 2023, the man was bound by two youth probation orders. The first order had the relevant condition to not possess any weapons, and the second order had the relevant conditions to not possess any weapons and to not possess any unlawful drugs. It is alleged that on this date, the man was in possession of a weapon and unlawful drugs. On June 5th, 2023, the man was already in custody and was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
