Cornwall, ON - On Saturday, July 8, 2023 at approximately 8:20 pm, the Cornwall Police Service (CPS) responded to a disturbance in the area of Fourteenth Street West and Vincent Massey Drive.

The CPS can confirm that an altercation ensued between two motorcycle gangs, known as the Outlaws and the Loners, in the parking lot of the business complex located in the 700 block of Fourteenth Street West. During the altercation, two individuals involved sustained stab wounds and one individual involved sustained a wound from being shot. The three individuals were transported to the hospital and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result of the investigation, five individuals have been taken into custody and charged accordingly. Further details on these arrests and subsequent charges will be shared at a later time.

Police believe this to be a targeted incident between the specified motorcycle gangs. The safety of our community remains a top priority for the CPS and we are continuing to work closely with our law enforcement partners to investigate.
