BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Sean Carl, 33, of Hawkesbury, ON was arrested on July 10th, 2023 and charged with breach of undertaking for failing to notify a change of address to police. It is alleged the man had changed addresses and failed to notify police. On July 10th, 2023, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 24th, 2023.

FAIL TO ATTEND COURT

Cornwall, ON – Morgan McCreary, 44, of St. Andrews West was arrested on July 10th, 2023 and charged with failing to attend court. It is alleged on June 29th, 2023, the woman failed to attend court for a previous fail to attend court offence. On July 10th, 2023, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on July 10th, 2023 and charged with breach of release order for failing to abide by his curfew. It is alleged on July 7th, 2023, the youth failed to return home during the hours of his curfew and police were contacted. On July 10th, 2023, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

FAIL TO ATTEND COURT

Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old youth was arrested on July 10th, 2023 and charged with failing to attend court. It is alleged on July 6th, 2023, the youth failed to attend court for a threats offence and police were contacted. On July 10th, 2023, she attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

DOMESTIC BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 11th, 2023 and charged with the following:

  • Breach of probation x 3 (for contacting his ex-girlfriend, being within a certain distance of her and failing to keep the peace)
  • Breach of undertaking x 2 (for contacting his ex-girlfriend and attending her residence)
  • Breach of release order x 2 (for contacting his ex-girlfriend and being within a certain distance of her)

It is alleged on July 11th, 2023 the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
