WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 13th, 2023, on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on May 31st, 2023, he contacted his ex-girlfriend, despite the conditions of his probation order and release order and a warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. On July 13th, 2023, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Alana Coderre, 20, of Ingleside was arrested on July 13th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on September 14th, 2022 for a causing a disturbance offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On July 13th, 2023, she attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on August 29th, 2023.

BREAK AND ENTER, POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, DOMESTIC MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 20-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 13th, 2023 and charged with break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime and domestic mischief. It is alleged between July 12-13, 2023, the man forced his way into his ex-girlfriend’s residence and removed items from the residence without permission. It is further alleged that the man damaged a coffee table. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 8th, 2023. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

IMPAIRED, FAILURE TO STOP AFTER AN ACCIDENT

Cornwall, ON – Maranda Martin-Richer, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on July 13th, 2023 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop after an accident. It is alleged on July 13th, the woman was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drug, when she struck two other vehicles and failed to remain at the scene. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 1st, 2023.
