WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Dale Masson, 56, of Cornwall was arrested on August 24th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on August 15th, 2023, the woman failed to attend court for a drug trafficking offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On August 24th, 2023, she attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on October 19th, 2023.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Paul Coleman, 39, of Cornwall was arrested on August 24th, 2023 and charged with breach of release order for failing to remain in his residence, as well as breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on August 24th, 2023, police located the man in breach of his conditions and an investigation ensured. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT, THEFT UNDER $5000, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Jacob Benoit, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on August 24th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. He was also charged with theft under $5000, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breach of probation for possessing a weapon and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on June 28th, 2023, the man attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as he left the store. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On August 24th, 2023, police located the man at another Second Street business, after he had allegedly once again removed merchandise without making any attempt to pay for the items. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant, and found to be in possession of an edged weapon and a pellet gun. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Emerisse Edgley, 40, of Cornwall was arrested on August 25th, 2023 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged the woman damaged various household items belonging to someone known to her and police were contacted. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 5th, 2023.
