WARRANT, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
Cornwall, ON – Eric Guerin, 46 of Cornwall was arrested on June 7th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant and charged with possession of a controlled substance. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on April 22nd, 2021 for a theft under charge and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was located on June 7th, 2021 by a member of the Cornwall Police Service, taken into custody and found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 17th, 2021.
Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on June 7th, 2021 and charged with breach of probation for being in the company of someone she has conditions not to associate with and theft under $5000. It is alleged while investigating a threats complaint police found the youth in breach of her conditions. She was taken into custody and found to be in possession of a stolen bank card. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on June 7th, 2021 and charged with mischief, breach of probation X3 for failing to keep the peace, not abiding by house rules and curfew. He was also charged with breach of undertaking for failing to follow house rules. It is alleged on June 7th, 2021 the youth caused damage to his bedroom and police were contacted to investigate. The youth was later located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Cornwall, ON – Lynn Pyper, 45 of Cornwall was arrested on June 8th, 2021 and charged with breach of a release order for not abiding by her curfew. It is alleged in the early morning hours of June 8th, 2021 the woman who was in breach of her conditions was spotted by a member of the Cornwall Police Service. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
