WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Sasha Colon, 31 of Cornwall was arrested on November 12th, 2021 on the strength of warrants. It is alleged in August 2021 the woman threatened another woman by way of social media and a warrant was obtained during the investigate. It is also alleged the woman failed to attend court for the following charges:
- Assault
- Theft of motor vehicle
- Breach of probation
- Fraud
- Mischief
- Fail to attend court.
As a result, a second warrant was issued for her arrest. On November 12th, 2021 the woman was located by police, taken into custody on the strength of the warrants and held for as bail hearing.
DRUG WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Celya Decosta, 34 and Emily Baker, 24 were both arrested on November 12th, 2021 and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and fentanyl. Decosta was also charged with property obtained by crime (cash). It is alleged during the execution of a drug warrant at a Cumberland Street address on November 12th, 2021 a quantity of Fentanyl and cocaine was located as well as some Canadian currency. Both were taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
IMPAIRED OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, UNAUTHORIZED POSSESSION OF A WEAPON, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE
Cornwall, ON – Cole Fortier-Larin, 24 of Cornwall was arrested on November 13th, 2021 and charged with the following:
- unauthorized possession of weapon
- possession of weapon dangerous
- weapon in motor vehicle
- impaired operation of a motor vehicle
It is alleged on November 13th, 2021 during a suspicious persons call the man was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs. It is also alleged police located a BB hand gun, and a restricted knife. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 27th, 2022.
