FRAUD UNDER $5000, UTTER FORGED DOCUMENTS 

            Cornwall, ON – Richard Dumais, 49 of Glen Walter (owner/operator of Stone Craft Masonry) was arrested on September 2nd, 2021 and charged with 36 counts of Fraud Under $5000 and 7 counts of Utter Forged Documents. It is alleged between March 2021 and July 2021the man defrauded customers and a joint investigation ensued involving the Cornwall Police Service and the OPP. On September 2nd, 2021 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 16th, 2021.  

PERSONATION, OBSTRUCT POLICE, FAIL TO REMAIN AT THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT, IMPAIRED OPERATION, 80 AND OVER 

            Cornwall ON – Patrick Campeau, 19 of Cornwall was arrested on September 2nd, 2021 and charged with personation, obstruct police, fail to remain at the scene of an accident, impaired and 80 and over. It is alleged on September 2nd, 2021 the man was driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol when his vehicle collided with a transport truck in the area of Brookdale Avenue. It is also alleged the man fled the scene prior to police arrival. He was located a short distance away and gave a false name to police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 16th, 2021.
