FOUR INDIVIDUALS FACE CHARGES AFTER ARMED ROBBERY
Cornwall, ON – On Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, at approximately 4:30 p.m., members of the Cornwall Police Service responded to an armed robbery in progress at a Brookdale Avenue business, and an investigation ensued.
Three masked individuals entered the business – one brandishing a firearm and another carrying an edged weapon. Using threats of violence, the suspects forcibly confined customers and staff while stealing high-value merchandise. The individuals then fled in a vehicle, subsequently leaving the City of Cornwall.
The CPS quickly coordinated with the Ontario Provincial Police and the Sûreté du Québec, which located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in Quebec. The four individuals were apprehended, taken into custody and transported back to Cornwall.
As a result of the investigation, three 17-year-old male youths and a 21-year-old woman, all from Quebec, face multiple robbery and weapons related charges.
They were each held for bail hearings.
