THREATS, ASSAULT, DISTURBANCE

Cornwall, ON – A 53-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Dec 22, 2025, and charged with uttering threats, assault, and causing a disturbance. It is alleged on Dec. 22, 2025, the man was causing a disturbance. An off-duty CPS Staff Sergeant was present and intervened. It is alleged that during the intervention, the man punched and threatened to kill the officer. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan 27, 2026.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 36-year-old man of Kahnawake, QC, was arrested on Dec. 22, 2025, and charged with two counts of assault and failing to comply with peace bond. It is alleged on Dec. 12 and 22, 2025, the man assaulted his wife. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed the man was bound by a peace bond with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and was held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 22, 2025, and charged with failing to comply with release order and failing to comply with probation order. It is alleged on Dec. 22, 2025, the main was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, and a release order with the relevant condition to remain in his residence. It is alleged the man failed to remain in his residence resulting in police being contacted and an investigation ensuing. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 23, 2025 and charged with two counts of failing to comply with release order. It is alleged on Dec. 23, 2025, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant conditions to not contact his girlfriend and to not attend her residence. He failed to do so resulting in police being contacted. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and was held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED OPERATION

Cornwall, ON – A 42-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 23, 2025, and charged with impaired operation and over 80. On Dec. 23, 2025, a member of CPS was conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Brookdale Avenue. The man was stopped for traffic violations resulting in an investigation ensuing. The investigation revealed the man was operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan. 13, 2026.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old woman of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 23, 2025, and charged with two counts of failing to comply with probation order and one count of failing to comply with non-communication order. It is alleged on Dec. 10, 2025, the woman was bound by two probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, and a non-communication order with condition to not contact her boyfriend while in custody. It is alleged on this date, the woman called her boyfriend from jail. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Dec. 23, 2025, the woman was in custody for unrelated matters and she was charged accordingly. She was held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 23, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Jan. 30, 2025, the man assaulted his girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Dec. 23, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 57-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 23, 2025, and charged with three counts of failing to comply with probation. It is alleged on this date, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, to not contact his girlfriend, and to not be within a specific distance of her. It is alleged on this date he was at her residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan. 27, 2026.
