SHOPLIFTING
Cornwall, ON – A 63-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 19, 2025, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on Aug. 25, 2025, the man attended a Ninth Street business, selected merchandise, and left the store without attempting to pay. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Dec. 19, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan. 27, 2026.
FAIL TO ATTEND
Cornwall, ON – A 42-year-old man of Iroquois was arrested on Dec. 19, 2025. On the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Nov. 04, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Dec. 19, 2025, the warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.
POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING
Cornwall, ON – On Dec. 19, 2025, members of the Criminal Investigations Division executed a search warrant and conducted an investigation on a Montreal Road business. As a result of the investigation, it was determined the business was selling scheduled substances that are prohibited. As a result, A 21-year-old woman and 28-year-old woman, both of Cornwall, were taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan. 27, 2026.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 19, 2025, and charged with three counts of assault, two counts of assault causing bodily harm, three counts of uttering threats and failing to comply with probation. It is alleged that between Dec. 18, 2021 and Dec 18, 2025, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged between these dates, the man threatened and assaulted his girlfriend and her daughter on numerous occasions. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Dec. 19, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.
SHOPLIFTING, MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON - A 50-year-old woman of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 19, 2025, and charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 and mischief under $5,000. It is alleged on Oct. 08, 2025, the woman attended a Ninth Street business on two separate occasions, selected merchandise, and left the store without attempting to pay for it. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. It is also alleged on Dec. 01, 2025, the woman attended a Pitt Street business and defecated on the property and made to attempt to sanitize the area. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Dec. 19, 2025, the woman was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan. 27, 2026.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT, MISCHIEF, WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old woman and 33-year-old man of Cornwall were arrested on Dec. 20, 2025, as a result of a domestic dispute. It is alleged on Dec. 20, 2025, the woman assaulted the man by punching and throwing a phone at him. It is also alleged that during this occurrence the man assaulted the woman and damaged the phone after it was thrown at him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed that on Dec. 02, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so, resulting in a warrant being issued. The warrant was executed on the man and both parties were taken into custody and charged as follows; The 38-year-old woman was charged with assault and assault with a weapon. She was released to appear in court on Jan. 20, 2026. The 33-year-old man of Cornwall was charged with assault and mischief under $5,000. He was released to appear in court on Jan. 06, 2025.
SHOPLIFTING, ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 45-year-old woman of Alexandria was arrested on December 20, 2025, and charged with assault and four counts of theft under $5,000.
It is alleged that on October 26, 2025, the woman attended a business on Ninth Street, selected merchandise, and left the store without attempting to pay. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
It is further alleged that on November 21, 2025, the woman attended a business on Second Street, selected merchandise, and left the store without attempting to pay. When she was lawfully stopped by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer, it is alleged she assaulted him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
Additionally, it is alleged that on the same date, the woman attended a business on Boundary Road, selected merchandise, and left without attempting to pay. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
It is also alleged that on November 23, 2025, the woman attended a business on Vincent Massey Drive, selected merchandise, and left the store without attempting to pay. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.
On December 20, 2025, the woman was located and taken into custody by the Ontario Provincial Police for unrelated occurrences. She was subsequently charged by members of the Cornwall Police Service and released to appear in court on January 27, 2026.
HARASSMENT, UTTERING THREATS, MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 36-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 20, 2025 and charged with uttering threats, mischief under $5,000, and two counts of criminal harassment. It is alleged on Dec. 19, 2025, the man threatened to cause harm to an individual and operated his vehicle in a manner that interfered with the individuals lawful use of the roadway and engaged in threatening conduct. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Dec. 20, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan. 27, 2026.
DANGEROUS AND IMPAIRED OPERATION
Cornwall, ON – An 18-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 21, 2025, and charged with impaired operation, over 80, and dangerous operation. It is alleged on Dec. 21, 2025, the man was operating his vehicle in a dangerous manner. Police were contacted and located the vehicle resulting in an investigation ensuing. The investigation revealed the man was operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Jan. 13, 2026
