DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 22, 2025, and charged with domestic assault. On Oct. 22, 2025, members of the Cornwall Police Service responded to a disturbance and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man assaulted his ex-girlfriend. He was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. The man was held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO ATTEND

Cornwall, ON – A 51-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 22, 2025, and charged with fail to attend for fingerprints. It is alleged on Sept. 24, 2025, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprinting and failed to do so. On Oct. 22, 2025, the man attended the CPS to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Nov. 27, 2025.

WARRANTS

Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 22, 2025, on the strength of outstanding warrants. It is alleged on Aug. 27, 2025, the woman was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprinting and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. It is also alleged on Oct. 2, 2025, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A second warrant was issued for her arrest. On Oct. 22, 2025, police were dispatched to an unwanted person complaint, and an investigation ensued. The woman was located by police, the warrant was executed, and she was later released to appear in court on Nov. 27, 2025.  

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old youth from Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 22, 2025, and charged with six counts of fail to comply with probation order. It is alleged from Aug. 31, 2025, to Sept. 1, 2025, the youth was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to not attend a specific address in the City of Cornwall. It is also alleged that during this time, on four separate occasions, the youth attended the address he was prohibited from visiting. Furthermore, it is also alleged from Aug. 31, 2025, to Sept. 1, 2025, the youth was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to not contact his brother. It is also alleged during this time, on two occasions, the youth was in communication with his brother. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Oct. 22, 2025, the youth was located by a CPS officer at the courthouse. He was charged accordingly under the Youth Criminal Justice Act and returned to cells to await a bail hearing.
