FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old youth from Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 28, 2025, and charged with four counts of fail to comply with undertaking. It is alleged on Oct. 5, 2025, and Oct. 7, 2025, the youth was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to not communicate directly with two specific individuals. Furthermore, it is alleged on each of these dates, he was in communication with both individuals. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Oct. 28, 2025, the youth attended Cornwall Police Service headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody and charged accordingly under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The youth was held for a bail hearing.
SHOPLIFTING
Cornwall, ON – A 31-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 28, 2025, and charged with theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. It is alleged on July 5, 2025, the woman attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Reasonable and probable grounds were developed for the woman’s arrest. On Oct. 28, 2025, she attended police headquarters to address the matter. The woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Dec. 2, 2025.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – A 39-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on Oct. 28, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Oct. 24, 2025, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On Oct. 28, 2025, the woman attended police headquarters for a separate matter. The warrant was executed, and she was later released to appear in court on Dec. 2, 2025.
